The processor was increasing volume, but the chilling department had become a constraint for product quality, timing, and downstream flow. Alfa’s job was to frame the expansion around the real plant requirement rather than a narrow equipment request.
The project included bottleneck assessment, department balancing, utility review, supplier coordination, and integration planning for downstream cut-up and packing. The result was a more credible improvement route than simply replacing one piece of equipment.
